Mark Gray

Mark Gray joined the Spokespersons Service of the European Commission in March 2006 where he is the spokesperson in the Coordination and Planning unit for the Commission departments working directly for the President (General Secretariat, Legal Service and Bureau of European Policy Advisors).

He had previously worked in the private sector as a senior associate at the international law firm, White & Case LLP from 2001-2004. He re-joined the Commission on May 1, 2004 to work as a Member of Cabinet for the first Czech Commissioner, Pavel Telicka. Before being appointed to the Spokespersons Service he was the member of Cabinet dealing with instiutional affairs for Vice-President Margot Wallstrom.

He has written widely on the European Commission and co-edited "Rethinking the European Union: IGC 2000 and Beyond".
